Why bay windows
can work here.
Warm, understated finishes complement Barnes’ quieter interiors and characterful window joinery.
Bay shutters are about accurate geometry. We plan frames, panel folds and handles around every return rather than forcing a flat-window layout into the bay.
Cottage windows, Edwardian bays and wider riverside openings call for different frame depths and panel proportions.

A workable bay windows plan
Every bay angle, sill depth, handle and opening section, plus where the panels will sit when they are folded back.
Agreed privacy and light control
Village-front rooms may need gentle lower-level screening; waterside spaces are more likely to prioritise flexible daylight control.

The written price covers the agreed bay windows layout, finish, operating details and fitting before you decide whether to proceed.
