Why special shapes
can work here.
From Bedford Park to Strand-on-the-Green, privacy and period character often matter in equal measure.
Shaped shutters are individually templated to follow arches and angles. The important detail is where the panels hinge and how the shape remains readable.
Tall sash windows and angled front bays are common starting points, with meeting rails that should guide the shutter divisions.
