Why special shapes
can work here.
Made-to-measure shutters bring calm, privacy and a crisp finish to busy urban streets and river-facing rooms.
Shaped shutters are individually templated to follow arches and angles. The important detail is where the panels hinge and how the shape remains readable.
Terrace bays, tall mansion-flat sashes and newer full-height glazing each need a different panel plan.

A workable special shapes plan
The exact template, hinge points, panel divisions and clearance around every curved or angled part of the frame.
Agreed privacy and light control
Busier streets call for useful daytime screening; river-facing rooms may instead prioritise glare control and an open view.
