Why special shapes
can work here.
Warm, understated finishes complement Barnes’ quieter interiors and characterful window joinery.
Shaped shutters are individually templated to follow arches and angles. The important detail is where the panels hinge and how the shape remains readable.
Cottage windows, Edwardian bays and wider riverside openings call for different frame depths and panel proportions.

A workable special shapes plan
The exact template, hinge points, panel divisions and clearance around every curved or angled part of the frame.
Agreed privacy and light control
Village-front rooms may need gentle lower-level screening; waterside spaces are more likely to prioritise flexible daylight control.
